As a NC licensed real estate broker who specializes in relocation, I work with clients who are planning to buy a home in the near future but want to rent first—whether it’s just for a few months or a couple of years.

Sarah Matthews
Sarah specializes in helping families relocate to the Greater Triangle area with confidence, providing personalized guidance to those who want to rent first and buy later. Her consultative approach is ideal for clients who are new to the area and want to take time—whether 2 months or 2 years—to explore neighborhoods, schools, and lifestyles before making a long-term purchase.
Having relocated to Raleigh from Cumberland County, NC herself in 2018, Sarah understands how overwhelming a big move can be. She brings both professional expertise and personal experience to the table—offering support that goes far beyond real estate. As a mom of five in a busy blended family, she’s a trusted resource on local schools, youth sports, healthcare providers, and community life across Wake Forest, North Raleigh, and beyond.
Before real estate, Sarah served as an active-duty soldier with the XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, then worked as a public school teacher in Cumberland and Wake County Public Schools and later a training coordinator for the federal government at RTP. She transitioned to real estate full time in 2021 and quickly found her calling: helping newcomers feel at home in Raleigh, one step at a time.
